Anthony O. Egbase, Esq. (Principal Counsel & Founder)

Anthony O. Egbase graduated from University of Benin (UNIBEN) in 1987, served Nigeria as a youth cooper (National Youth Service Corp.) from 1987 -1988 and moved to the United States where he clerked for the Honorable James Luther, Superior Court Judge, Mendocino County, California from 1990 -1992. Mr. Egbase then worked as an Independent manager for three law firms from 1992-1995. In 1995, he passed the California Bar and was admitted to California Bar in 1996. Mr. Egbase is also a member of the Maryland State Bar and Washington D.C. Bar.

As a member of the Bar of several states in the United States and as a member of the Nigerian Bar, Anthony Egbase, brings substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation, criminal defense and individual and business reorganization.

Prior to starting A. O. E. Law & Associates, Inc., Anthony Egbase worked as a prominent chapter 11, debtor’s side, and general civil and criminal defense practitioner in Los Angeles, California.  Anthony Egbase then built A. O. E. Law & Associates, Inc., (a multi- attorney/multi-jurisdictional law firm) that includes criminal defense, civil Litigation and Individual, Corporate reorganization.

Mr. Egbase has achieved a variety of success for borrowers including stripping secured status on a number of alleged secured claims. In 2004, Mr. Egbase led delegates of Nigerian Bankers Association to the American Law Institute-American Bar Association Conference on Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions in New York.  As a litigator, he has obtained jury verdicts in favor of individual defendants and resolved claim disputes and jury awards for civil litigants in both state and federal courts.   

In 2013, Mr. Egbase served as the chairman of University of Benin Alumni Association North America (UBAANA) Southern California Chapter.
